Travelling is quite good isn’t it?
We left the UK in October 2013 and spend the next 2 years and 6 weeks on the road. It was fantastic – we saw some wonderful places, met some fantastic people and learnt so so much about the world and well, about life.
After nearly a year back in the UK our feet were more than itchy so we thought it the best decision to just listen to our feet, give in and go away again.
This time by motorbike.
Jake has been riding since his feet could touch the floor (before in fact) and passed his test a year or so ago. He bought a Hyosung GT 650 when we lived in Australia and we did some day trips around WA. When we left he sold this and had to wait until we were back in the UK before he rode his next big bike.
Then, a few weeks ago we bought a Kawasaki ZR-7 – and this is the bike for our trip.
For Jake this is a dream come true. He’s always loved bikes and to be able to do this is wonderful. He can travel and enjoy every minute of the journey.
It’s not just Jake though: after a few months riding around Thailand I came back to the UK and bought a little 125cc Yamaha. Obviously this little thing won’t be coming away with us – I’m going to miss it!!
